Marinewaze is a nationwide marine supply store with locations across the United States and an eCommerce website to tie them all together. Offering an extensive selection of electrical and electronic products for the marine, outdoor, and personal navigation markets at competitive prices. Although their business has seen success, most of it has been offline. To increase their eCommerce presence and success an updated website design was needed to help bring Marinewaze to the forefront of online marine sales.

Challenges Faced

Before Marinewaze came to MAK Digital Design, their site was not favorable to the user experience. Finding products could be a challenge on its own, you might find the same product across several categories. Once found, there were many times there was no additional information available on the products other than their names. They felt compared to competitors they lacked a sense of authority and credibility and sought out MAK to help fix these issues.

After careful consideration it was decided that the changes made would require a new home page, new product pages, new category pages, new navigation, and general beautification of the site! Our BigCommerce Developers worked hard to increase overall online presence and increase KPI’s including, online conversion rate and bounce rate! Every aspect of their website redesign was built with "mobile first" in mind, ensuring a seamless transition on all devices.
