Concept

The project had four main goals to complete. First Medd Max’s data had to be migrated from the Wix eCommerce platform to the BigCommerce platform. Second, MAK Digital had to create a custom BigCommerce theme utilizing BigCommerce Stencil technology. Third, add Business to Business (B2B) capabilities to the new site, utilizing the BigCommerce Integrated Bundle B2B. Finally, make the site mobile-capable/friendly utilizing responsive design technology. The project also included changes to the design of the website, along with meta data tweaks to assist with BigCommerce SEO and overall user experience (UX).

Redesign

The redesign of the BigCommerce website theme was focused around building on the basic design the Wix version of the site had. There was a strong focus put on the user experience, making sure the user had an easy time navigating the site from landing page through to checkout. A new navigation was created to support the new products and categories. It is all of these changes that give the new Medd Max website a more professional appearance and feel, leaving the customer confident they are purchasing from a reputable medical supply distributor.

The redesign incorporated the expertise of BigCommerce design partners to ensure best practices were followed. Additionally, our team utilized BigCommerce Stencil for custom theme development, which enhanced the site's aesthetics and functionality. Solution

Medd Max's eCommerce troubles were due to their ecommerce website not being hosted on a platform prepared for their growth and B2B opportunities.
