Challenges Faced

Rose from The Rosewood reached out to MAKDigital with a dream of launching her eCommerce store for her new women’s fashion brand. Starting from scratch in the competitive fashion industry, Rose needed more than just a website—she needed a digital presence that captured her brand’s essence and mission. The challenge was to create an engaging, seamless online shopping experience that mirrored the in-store feel, where customers enjoy a personal shopping journey.

Our first hurdle was gaining a deep understanding of The Rosewood’s brand vision, target audience, and the highly competitive fashion landscape they were entering, particularly targeting women aged 18-36 in North Naples and the Southwest Florida area. Entering such a saturated market can be intimidating for a new business, so our focus was on building the right foundation for the brand. We needed to ensure that The Rosewood’s digital presence stood out and gained visibility quickly.

A key challenge was ensuring that the website didn’t just display products but also reflected the experience of visiting The Rosewood’s physical store. We had to implement features that would replicate the curated, personalized service Rose wanted to offer—where a stylist helps select outfits and makes the shopping experience more interactive and enjoyable.
