Design & Functionality Overview

FTA needed to overhaul their outdated Drupal platform due to issues with mobile optimization, limited search visibility, and low user engagement. Therefore, they aimed to create a digital presence that reflected their growing reputation and reached a broader audience. We executed a comprehensive BigCommerce migration to address these challenges and establish a modern, engaging platform that reinforced FTA’s authority.

We collaborated closely with FTA to transition all existing content to BigCommerce. Our team developed a custom BigCommerce Stencil theme that aligns with their professional brand identity. This redesign features a clean, contemporary aesthetic with bold typography, high-quality visuals, and a carefully chosen color palette that meets industry standards. To enhance user experience, we integrated intuitive navigation, complex dropdown menus with calendar schedules, and visually engaging content. This setup allows users to explore FTA’s wide range of courses easily, promoting a straightforward journey from discovery to enrollment.

We also added several custom functionalities to optimize the platform. For instance, an infinite-scroll gallery showcases FTA’s diverse course offerings in an immersive way. To improve search and product discovery, we integrated Searchanise, enabling users to filter and quickly find relevant courses. Furthermore, we included a custom React-based side cart to create a seamless checkout experience. Additionally, we integrated the Rewind Backup platform to protect data integrity through regular backups, ensuring the security of vital customer and course content.

Our focus on BigCommerce speed optimization ensured swift load times, creating a smooth browsing experience across all devices. This fully optimized platform aligns with modern eCommerce standards and is designed for speed, security, and flexibility. As a result, FTA is positioned as a leader in the firearms training industry.
