The Situation

NSPEC Innovations had built a successful business as a firearms parts retailer on GunBroker.com, known for offering hard-to-find components, gear, and accessories. But success on the platform came with significant drawbacks. Every sale meant paying fees that cut into their earnings, and as their customer base grew and order values increased, those fees became more costly. More critically, they had no ownership of their customer relationships or data—everything lived on GunBroker's platform. Without their own ecommerce site, they also risked missing opportunities to build their brand, control their margins, and scale their business on their own terms.

The Core Challenge

Their entire business ran through GunBroker.com. Every transaction meant paying platform fees that cut into margins. Every customer relationship belonged to GunBroker, not them.
